What we give back …

What we give back …
March 29, 2015 Jess

Here at Jelly Babe Gifts we believe that giving back to the community is very important. I am very passionate about child welfare and protection of children. One way that I give back to the community is by donating 10% of profits from Jelly Babe Gifts to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

GOSH building

The reason I chose GOSH to be the charity that I donate to is that they work tirelessly to help children and their families. I have also chosen this charity because my Mum went there a lot as a child; she had many operations at Great Ormond Street Hospital right up until she was 9 years old. GOSH put the child first and always will. GOSH raises money to enable hospitals to provide first class care and pioneer new treatments for childhood illnesses. They have over 240,000 patients visit every year. The money that gets donated to them helps them to give hope, strength and courage to patients and their families. The money that gets donated through fundraising, sponsorships, donations and the gifts that can be bought from GOSH help them to continue to provide this incredible support!

At the moment we give 10% from every sale, this money goes straight to Great Ormond street Hospital as we have set up PayPal Giving. This is where 10% from every sale gets given straight to Great Ormond Street.

Thank you for reading. As always, I would love to hear your stories on how do you give back to the community.

Mush love,
Jess

JellyBabeGifts

Hiya I'm Jess, I'm the owner of JellyBabeGifts. I started JellyBabeGifts in 2011 when I was only 15 years old. Since then I have built up my business with the help of my Mum. We make nappy cakes, baby hampers, textile gifts and hand sewn cards. I also write blogs about things, local businesses and anything new that JellyBabeGifts has to share.
